The National Pathology Group is an independent interest group consisting of Southern African pathologists.
- We operate as a registered non-profit company.
- The Group promotes best practice standards with the objective of improving the quality and availability of diagnostic pathology services.
- NPG members adhere to a Code of Ethical Conduct.
OBJECTIVES
- To promote the professional and legitimate interests of pathology;
- To promote the professional and ethical practice of pathology recognising the statutory authority and function of the Health Professions Councils of countries where members practice;
- To inform medical practitioners about ongoing developments in pathology;
- Promoting accurate diagnosis and quality care of patients; resulting in
- Appropriate and cost-effective diagnosis and therapy;
